I managed to go 2-0 with Pteradax but the MVP was not the monster but rather the bellowers. In both games they helped swing the damage curve in my favor. Ultimately the game could have gone either way and both Marwan and I learned things about the game which is great. Marwan played masterfully with Ares and I was fortunate to steal a win.

Conversely Mega Hurricanus also worked well getting the win but I think I need more games with her to get a grasp on dice economy. Her Toss blast trigger is amazing but she is a rather soft monster and thus susceptible to big counter swings. I love playing the Elementals for their Japanese flavor but they are rather unforgiving....but, thanks to Marwan, I now have the beat stick of the Elementals....Mega Tectomoc (insert evil Japanese laugh)

I enjoyed using new monsters and hope to do the same next time out. Right now I have my eye on a certain Quantum monkey....
